30 | P a g e <br />RFQ #16-06-01 Shoreline Surveying & Mapping Consulting Services <br /> <br />Reach 8 DEIS Review, Palm Beach County, Florida <br />CLIENT: Town of Palm Beach <br />Provided comments on the DEIS to be addressed in the Final <br />Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) to ensure that the final <br />document represents a comprehensive technical assessment of the <br />proposed Southern Palm Beach Island Comprehensive Shoreline <br />Stabilization Project that is sufficient to facilitate efficient federal <br />permitting of a shoreline stabilization project to mitigate the erosion in <br />the southern end of the Town’s beach and that fully addresses all <br />NEPA requirements. Detailed technical comments were provided, <br />which are anticipated to be addressed in the Final Environmental <br />Impact Statement. <br /> <br />Sunny Isles Beach Breakwater Investigation, Sunny Isles Beach, FL <br />CLIENT: City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />Conducted an underwater investigation of submerged breakwaters <br />located offshore of the City of Sunny Isles Beach. Provided a structural <br />assessment to evaluate the condition of the existing breakwaters and <br />summarized findings in an Engineering Assessment Report. <br /> <br />Sunny Isles Beach Coastal Structures Feasibility Study – Phase II, Sunny <br />Isles Beach, FL <br />CLIENT: City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />Prepared an updated summary of coastal structures feasibility, as an <br />addendum to a Phase I Shoreline Stabilization Study to revise the <br />recommendations based on beach management projects either <br />completed or planned in the Tri-County area since 2009 for the City of <br />Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> <br />Town of Palm Beach South End Restoration, Palm Beach County, <br />Florida <br />CLIENT: Town of Palm Beach <br />Feasibility study, Equilibrium Toe of Fill Assessment, Mitigation Design, <br />and modeling to support application processing for proposed beach <br />nourishment project for the south end of the Town. Engineering <br />assessment to evaluate sediment coming into project area from <br />updrift beach renourishment and corresponding adjustment to project <br />construction template. Further adjustments to template to <br />accommodate requests from NGOs to secure support for project. <br />Evaluated beach management, environmental permitting and funding <br />options and processing environmental permits to authorize beach <br />project. <br />
