(SDI) has an extensive amount of experience conducting services for <br />governmental agencies, many of which were conducted through annual services type contracts. <br />Through this experience, SDI has demonstrated the ability to respond quickly and effectively to meet <br />all time constraints associated with any of the City’s projects. As a result of this experience the firm <br />has also developed specific methodologies and strategies for collecting, editing, processing and <br />charting hydrographic and topographic data efficiently and accurately. To do this the firm has <br />developed a comprehensive, in-house inventory of equipment and survey supplies to readily respond to <br />any survey assignment without substantial time lost in equipment mobilization. <br /> <br />SDI has been involved in numerous annual service contracts where individual assignments are <br />negotiated insofar as scope, costs and schedule on a project -by-project basis. SDI understands the <br />importance of cost control and works with the client during the initial planning phases to gain full <br />understanding of project objectives and to assist in the development of project approach, <br />methodologies and ultimate deliverables. Through these contractual relationships, SDI has <br />demonstrated time-after-time their willingness and desire to adhere to project schedules with no costs <br />increases and change order requests. Sea Diversified will get the job done, whatever it takes. <br /> <br />EEffffeeccttiivvee PPrroojjeecctt MMaannaaggeemmeenntt –– TThhee KKeeyy ttoo SSuucccceessssffuull PPrroojjeeccttss <br /> <br />SDI shall utilize the “Project Manager Approach” to ensure timely and accurate deliverables are <br />prepared for the City. William T. Sadler Jr., P.S.M., P.E., President of SDI will be the designated <br />Primary Point-of-Contact for this contract with the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> <br />For this contract, Mr. Sadler will coordinate all tasks including contract negotiations, development of <br />schedules, monitoring field and office operations, and reviewing final products prior to delivery. These <br />responsibilities are key to any project and are considered essential to assure that objectives are met and a <br />sound client – contractor relationship is continuously maintained. <br /> <br />Specifically, Mr. Sadler will coordinate with the City on all tasks and ensure the following are clearly <br />understood by SDI. <br /> Project Objectives <br /> Project Scope <br /> Project Deliverables <br /> Project Schedule (Milestones) <br /> <br />Additionally, Mr. Sadler will develop a solid and professional Project Approach for Sea Diversified and <br />will generally include the following: <br /> Project approach methodology <br /> Define deliverable components <br /> Define activity steps <br /> Allocate Resources <br /> Prepare a task precedence sequence <br /> Establish and Analyze (last) milestone plan <br /> Estimate duration and assign tasks <br /> <br />Mr. Sadler shall review and modify Work Plan on a weekly basis to: <br /> Identify activities that have been completed during the previous week and update the Work Plan <br />to show they are finished. <br /> Determine whether there are any other activities that should be completed, but are not. Work <br />with the individual(s) who are assigned to a specif ic task and allocate or align resources to meet <br />specific task objectives.
