<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach |Request for Qualifications No. 16-06-02 13 <br /> <br />Department of Transportation (FDOT) as necessary and all City of Sunny Isles Beach Building <br />permits necessary for the construction of projects. <br /> <br />Firms shall provide a comprehensive summary of the experience and qualifications of the individual <br />who will be selected to serve as the Project Manager. This individual must have a minimum of five <br />(5) years experience in landscape architecture for municipal projects and should serve as Project <br />Manager on a minimum of three (3) similar projects. This individual must be capable of speaking <br />and making decisions on behalf of the Firm. <br /> <br />Additionally, Firms shall: <br />• Provide timely delivery services and resources <br />• Ensure that candidates for projects meet required qualifications and check references before <br />recommending to the City <br />• Supervise consulting and sub consulting staff; oversee their work and performance <br />• Manage the project (timelines, budget, deliverables, and contingencies) and track the <br />progress <br />• Quality assures all deliverables; ensure written reports are polished and coherent <br />• Communicate regularly with the City Work Order Project Managers <br /> <br />Deliverables shall be submitted by the Firm on or before the date as delineated in the Agreement <br />for each project. <br /> <br />The City shall review, comment, reject and/or approve the deliverables. <br /> <br />3.3 WORK ORDER ASSIGNMENT AND COST NEGOTIATION <br /> <br />The City Manager or his designee will be the Contract Administrator for each project. As the need <br />arises, the Contract Administrator will provide the scope of services to one of the contracted Firms <br />for a specific project. The Firm will provide a detailed level of effort, and a project and staffing <br />schedule that conforms to the Contract Administrator’s project and schedule requirements. The <br />Firm shall include the experience and capability of particular personnel who will perform the work. <br /> <br />The City will negotiate the contract in accordance with Florida Statute Section 287.055, Consultants’ <br />Competitive Negotiation Act. <br /> <br />Each project will require a fully executed amendment, subject to City Commission approval, if <br />necessary, to the existing Agreement between the Firm and City prior to the commencement of <br />any services. <br /> <br /> <br />END OF SECTION <br /> <br />
