The site was <br />originally 56 acres of percolation ponds from the main water treatment facility in the county. Land Design <br />South was involved from the inception, creating the Master Plan of the existing plant operations, future land <br />use, the proposed site plan and interpretive signage. The complexity of the project required public charettes <br />to incorporate community opinion. The project received the distinguished Environmental Sustainability Honor <br />Award in 2009. <br />25.
