He has 10 years of experience with all <br />aspects of irrigation consulting, design, details and specifications. He prepares landscape, hardscape, and irrigation pl ans from <br />concept to construction documents; irrigation distribution plans; water use permits; water use analysis; LEED documentation a nd <br />calculations. Mr. Bortak also performs construction administration, shop drawing review, and inspections. He is respons ible for <br />producing plan and section renderings and graphics, and realistic 3D renderings and fly -through videos. <br />Mr. Bortak also assisted with project coordination and quality control between multiple offices; project budgeting and cost e stimating; <br />and client consulting for best irrigation practices, new and innovative products, and water conservation. He was responsible for the <br />implementation of Land F/X design software as a department standard for landscape architecture and irrigation design. This <br />included setup software, installation, deployment, creating company standards and software manuals. CMA was contracted by the City of Coral Springs to assist the Coral Springs CRA in the planning, design, <br />permitting and construction support of various streetscaping improvements in Downtown Coral Springs. As the prime <br />consultants, CMA provided civil engineering, landscape architecture, environmental permitting and construction engineering <br />and inspection services for the project. The project included implementing Complete Street concepts for NW 31st Court, NW <br />94th Avenue and NW 32nd Street. The logo and tag line will be used in the establishment of a districtwide wayfinding system and will also be <br />incorporated into the CRA’s website and printed materials. The AECOM wayfinding and environmental graphic studio is serving <br />as the sub consultant and providing design services for the logo and tagline. CMA is working as the program coordinator and <br />developing locations and reviewing permitting requirements for the proposed wayfinding system. This stretch of road will be incorporated into the historic pedestrian street known as Lincoln Road Mall. The project is <br />funded by the City of Miami Beach through a developer’s agreement with Lincoln Center Associates which owns the retail <br />building at the intersection of Euclid Avenue with Lincoln Road. The project requires coordination with various agencies <br />including the City of Miami Beach Planning Department, Public Works, Greenspace management, and Capital Improvements, <br />as well as Miami-Dade County Environmental Protection, Traffic, and Utilities.
