Site is extensively landscaped with buffer planting & berming on <br />all sides. Design included 2 interpretive areas with butterfly gardens. Each park has their own specific amenity that <br />makes it unique. The hardscape components such as paving, lighting, benches, walking surfaces, fences and restroom <br />facilities have the same character which relates the two parks together. Coordination between the Town and Florida Department of Transportation was key due to joint funding and a <br />State grant for the project. The existing roadways contained many green islands absent of any substantial vegetation.
