<br />Mr. Handley was the CTA Principal-in-Charge for the preparation of the Bicycle / Pedestrian Greenways & Trails Master
<br />Plan. The Plan defines a system of sidewalks, bike lanes, paths, greenways and trails within the City of Sunrise that
<br />provides integrated and continuous corridors for non-motorized transportation and recreation throughout the City in
<br />a manner that is sensitive to the needs of various user groups, the natural and built environment, the management
<br />and maintenance, and potential funding capabilities of local government.

<br />amphitheater, play areas, boardwalks & jogging paths. Site is extensively landscaped with buffer planting & berming on
<br />all sides. Design included 2 interpretive areas with butterfly gardens. This state-of-the-art Community Center facility
<br />replaced an outgrown and outdated facility on the same site.

<br />Principal Landscape Architect for two passive parks in the City of Sunrise. Each park has their own specific amenity that
<br />makes it unique. The hardscape components such as paving, lighting, benches, walking surfaces, fences and restroom
<br />facilities have the same character which relates the two parks together. Oak Hammock Park has a splash pad water
<br />feature for kids while the Cypress Preserve Park has a disc golf course.

<br />The project involved the beautification of approximately 2 miles of U.S. 1 Highway within the limits of the Town of Juno
<br />Beach. Coordination between the Town and Florida Department of Transportation was key due to joint funding and a
<br />State grant for the project. The existing roadways contained many green islands absent of any substantial vegetation. As
<br />a result of the project, plush islands are now present adding to the identity of the Town.
