North Park, an active 2 <br />acre park with a play field, gazebo, jogging path and <br />fitness equipment serves as the Town’s main open <br />space for play. South Park, a passive 2 acre park is <br />an oasis of tropical flora with flowering trees, shrubs, <br />native palms and grasses. South Park houses a trellis <br />for staging performances, a jogging path with fitness <br />equipment in a tranquil garden setting. Singer Park is <br />a pocket park with a coral rock water wall that buffers <br />the view of transformers and an intimate plaza sur- <br />rounded by tropical vegetation. <br /> <br />Total Cost of projects: $800,000 <br /> <br />Project Team: Kathy O’Leary Richards, ASLA Project <br />Manager; Bill O’Leary, FASLA Sr. Landscape Architect/ <br />Quality Control; Carlos Somoza, Project Landscape <br />Architect <br /> <br />Role of firm and responsibilities: ORDA was the <br />Prime Consultant responsible for the Landscape Archi- <br />tectural design from master planning through con- <br />struction administration.
