BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />Intracoastal Park in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida is comprised of the development of two vacant 1.5-acre parcels, located between Collins <br />Avenue and the Intracoastal Waterway to the west. The project included the addition of a 5’ tall concrete/CMU screen wall along the <br />southern property line, decorative stone columns and an aluminum picket fence along the Intracoastal Waterway consistent with the <br />City’s theme for fencing, benches, trash receptacles, picnic tables with colorful umbrellas, bike racks, paved walkways, site grading, <br />security lighting, landscaping, and irrigation. The project also included the sighting and placement of park signage and three sculptures <br />provided by the City. The now completed project provides two new linear passive parks for visitors and neighbors to relax in the sun or <br />shade, throw a Frisbee, kick around a soccer ball or enjoy a walk along the meandering walkway adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway. <br />In addition, the park was designed to accommodate a dock facility along the Intracoastal to be added in a later phase of development. <br /> <br />STANDARD FORM 330 (6/2004) <br />25.
