BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />Bermello Ajamil & Partners, Inc. (B&A) served as the Landscape Architects for this new joint venture between the City of Pompano <br />Beach and the County Library System to build a new library at the beach to replace the outdated building located on an adjacent <br />lot. B&A developed the overall site plan and the landscape design for both the parking and public open space adjacent to the new <br />library facility. <br />Due to the extensive coverage of existing trees and palms on the site, B&A developed a plan to relocate and preserve most of the <br />existing trees. Large seagrapes were relocated onsite and create a dramatic impact to the new landscape design. The public open <br />space is intended to provide a pleasant outdoor gathering space for both library users and residents from the adjacent community. <br />25.
