While The City has not formally revised its <br />comprehensive plan to reflect all of the above-mentioned policies, many efforts are <br />currently been implemented to further the need for urban redevelopment outside of <br />Sunny Isles Beach's downtown. The EAR-based plan amendments will be consistent <br />with Florida Statutes 187.201, as applicable. <br /> <br />Changes to South Florida Strategic Regional Policy Plan (SRPP) <br /> <br />The Strategic Regional Policy Plan, adopted on June 7, 2004, became effective on July <br />12, 2004. This was a major update since 1995.
