<br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH 2007 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />EVALUATION AND APPRAISAL REPORT (EAR)-BASED AMENDMENTS <br />21. Amend Policy 9B. as follows: <br /> <br />Policy 9B. SelaF Green design guidelines for such items as street passageway alignments, landscaping, <br />setbacks, building orientation, and relationship to water bodies shall be adopted by 2001, and shall be utilized in <br />site plan re','iews incorporated as appropriate in the land development regulations, as they will be revised by <br />2012 in accordance with Policy 81. of this Element. <br /> <br />22. Amend Policy IID. as follows: <br /> <br />Policy IID. Prepare and adopt The City shall continue to implement economic development strategies for the <br />Town Center, and economic strategies and development plans incorporating Lland Use and design guidelines <br />for redevelopment of the waterfront properties along Sunny Isles Boulevard. <br /> <br />23. Amend Policy 12A. as follows: <br /> <br />Policy 12A. The City shall adopt development incentives and promote parking infrastructure improvements <br />and coordinate as appropriate with the private sector to that will foster and encourage redevelopment of the <br />commercial areas adjacent to Sunny Isles Beach Boulevard. <br /> <br />24. Amend Policy 12B. as follows: <br /> <br />Policy 12B. Develop and implement design guidelines for building facades, landscaping and signage in the <br />Sunny Isles Boulevard area and throughout the City by 2012. <br /> <br />25. Amend Policy 12D. as follows: <br /> <br />Policy 12D. Develop and implement The City's design guidelines and/or their implementing regulations that <br />will require and address the design of attractive on-site parking facilities and shared parking where practical, in <br />conjunction with commercial developments. <br /> <br />26. Delete Policy 12E. as follows: <br /> <br />Policy 12E. "^~dopt architectural design guidelines and signage regulations to ensure that future development <br />along Sunny Isles Boulevard is consistent with the proposed Governmont Center. <br /> <br />27. Amend Policy 13A. as follows: <br /> <br />Policy 13A.
