<br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH 2007 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />EV ALUA TION AND APPRAISAL REPORT (EAR)-BASED AMENDMENTS <br />APPLICATION NO. 10 <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />INTERGOVERNMENT AL COORDINATION ELEMENT AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />1. Replace existing Policy 3A. with a new Policy 3A. as follows: <br /> <br />Policy 3A. The City will coordinate with the Miami Dade County Planning Department in order to develop <br />county'.vide population projections that include expected growth and/or changes; said changes to be shovm in <br />the Sunny Isles Beach Comprehensive Plan. The City upon receipt of the 2000 Census information v,ill <br />coordinate with the Miami Dade County Planning Department and the Miami Dade School Board to refine <br />population projections for the City of Sunny Isles Beach. By March 1, 2001, tIhe City shall enter into an interlocal agreement or other formal agreement <br />'.'lith the Miami Dade Public School System, as required by Chapter 163.3177(6)(h)(2) F.S. continue to <br />coordinate with Miami-Dade County Public Schools in accordance with the lnterlocal Agreement for Public <br />School Facility Planning in Miami-Dade Countv, as it may be periodically updated. <br /> <br />3. Add a new Policy under Objective 3 as follows: <br /> <br />Policy 3N. The City shall review the water supply facility workplans of Miami-Dade County and North <br />Miami Beach, as they are adopted and/or periodically updated, in order to identify alternative proiects that will <br />increase its water supply, and shall coordinate with Miami-Dade County and North Miami Beach, as <br />appropriate, in the implementation of these proiects. In addition, the City shall prepare a Ten-Year Water <br />Supply Facilities Workplan in accordance with State requirements. <br /> <br />4. Add a new Policy under Objective 3 as follows: <br /> <br />Policy 30. The City shall support Miami-Dade County, as appropriate. in efforts to achieve its Five Year <br />Water Efficiency Plan goal of 155 gallons per capita per day. <br /> <br />33 <br />
