Vera, Assistant City Manager/ Service Divisioc:J <br />Robert Solera, Community Development Director <br /> <br />December 13, 2007 <br /> <br />Educational Facilities Plan Amendments <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />It is recommended that the City Commission approve the Educational Facility Plan amendments. <br /> <br />REASONS <br /> <br />As part of the Evaluation Appraisal Report (EAR) amendments an Educational Facilities Element <br />has been created for the City's Comprehensive Master Plan. The Educational Facilities Plan <br />outlines the methodology of creating school concurrency, the sharing of information between local <br />governments and Miami-Dade County Public Schools and implementing public school concurrency <br />through the City' Comprehensive Master Plan. <br /> <br />Upon second approval by the City Commission of this Ordinance the amendments will be <br />transmitted to the Department of Community Affairs (DCA) for fInal suffIciency review. <br /> <br />To be completed by Department Head To be completed by City Clerk's Office <br />Funding available: Approval: Agenda Item No.: 'fA <br />Finance Department City Manager ":l-/3-()1 <br /> Commission Meeting Date: <br />
