The ballot frames are checked to insure that there is a hole in the yellow mask <br />corresponding to each active voting position in the ballot pages and that there <br />are no additional holes. <br /> <br />d. Each active position number is then punched out on the demonstration card to <br />insure that the votomatic is working properly. <br /> <br />e. The Elections Department's Voting Equipment and Supply Supervisor will also <br />send a ballot page frame for each ballot variation to the County Supervisor of <br />Elections who will insure that the proper ballot pages, races and questions are <br />contained within the ballot page frame. <br /> <br />5. The final check that the ballot pages are correct is done at the precinct on election <br />morning when the votomatics are assembled. <br /> <br />a. The Precinct Clerk will read the races and questions using a sample ballot. <br /> <br />b. The inspectors will verify that the proper races and questions appear in each <br />votomatic and will punch each active position number using a demonstration <br />card to insure that the votomatics are operating properly. <br /> <br />c. Each inspector who tests a votomatic will print his or her initials and votomatic <br />number on the demonstration ballot. <br /> <br />d. All of the test demonstration ballots will be placed into the Affidavit Envelope <br />and retained as a record of the election. <br /> <br />2.2 <br />
