<br />(11 ) <br /> <br />DISTRIBUTION OF BALLOT CARDS AND SUPPLIES <br /> <br />1. The Elections Department's Voting Equipment and Supply Supervisor will have the <br />Ballot Transfer Cases and Supply Kits delivered by a Supply Driver to the City Clerk <br />prior to the day of the election. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk or someone designated by the City Clerk will verify the contents of <br />the Supply Kits and Ballot Transfer Cases against the Distribution Center Supply <br />Checklist (Exhibit III). The City Clerk will insure that the total number of ballot cards <br />in the cases and the consecutive numbers printed on those ballots agree with the <br />information entered on the Ballot Accountability Forms. The Supply Worker will <br />then latch and seal the cases with numbered seals. The seal numbers will be . <br />verified against the numbers entered in Certificate No. 1 (See sample on page 3.3) <br />to insure that they agree, <br /> <br />3. The City Clerk will sign the Distribution Center Supply Checklists, which is retained <br />by the Elections Department and will take custody of the Supply Kits and Ballot <br />Transfer Cases until they are given to the Precinct Clerks prior to the morning of the <br />election. <br /> <br />4,1 <br />
