<br />(12) <br /> <br />COLLECTION OF BALLOT CARDS AND SUPPLIES <br /> <br />1. When the Election Board completes the process of closing down their precinct after <br />the polls close, the Clerk and Deputy Clerk will transport the Ballot Transfer Case(s) <br />and Supply Kit to the City Hall, Suite 250, 17070 Collins Avenue. <br /> <br />2. The Elections Department's representative will compare the numbered seal(s) on <br />the Ballot Transfer Case(s) against the seal number(s) entered on Certificate No, 2. <br />(See example on page 3,23). <br /> <br />a) If the numbers agree, the seal number(s) is entered on the Ballot Transfer Case <br />Receipt (Exhibit VIII) along with the precinct number, time and date. <br /> <br />b) If the seal number(s) does not compare with Certificate No.2, the seal <br />number(s) on the Ballot Transfer Case(s), the precinct number, time, date, and <br />a notation that the number(s) does not agree with Certificate No. 2 will be <br />entered on the Ballot Transfer Case Receipt. The Precinct Clerk will sign the <br />notation. <br /> <br />After the Ballot Transfer Case Receipt has been completed, it is signed by the <br />Precinct Clerk and the Elections Department's representative. The top copy of the <br />Receipt will be given to the Precinct Clerk and the bottom copy will be retained by <br />the Elections Department's representative, <br /> <br />3. The Elections Department's representative will break the numbered seal(s) on the <br />Ballot Transfer Case(s) and will remove the Ballot Accountability Form (Exhibit IV) <br />and the voted ballot cards in preparation for tabulation. <br /> <br />4. Upon completion of the tabulation process, the City Clerk will take custody of the <br />voted ballot cards, voided ballot cards, unused ballot cards, Ballot Accountability <br />Form, Ballot Transfer Case Receipt, Oath and Certificate Form, and payroll. The <br />Elections Department's representative will take custody for all of the other items <br />contained in the Supply Kit. <br /> <br />4,2 <br />
