<br />Parts and Labor Warranty <br />Please see customer kit for detailed information regarding warranty <br />information. LOJACK provides a limited parts and labor warranty to the <br />owner of a LOJACK recovery system for a period of two years from the date <br />of installation. LOJACK also provides a limited. parts and labor. warranty to <br />the owner of a LOJACK Prevent Unit or LOJACK Alert for a period of one. <br />year from the date of installation. AIl LOJACK warranties are limited to the'; <br />original retail purchaser and are not transferable to another vehicle. To obtain <br />service under the Parts and Labor Warranty, either the dealership or the ." <br />customer may call the Installation Department to schedule an appointment.' <br />See the owner's kit for the complete parts and labor warranty. <br /> <br />Recovery Warranty . _ <br />LOJACK guarantees that.if a LOJACK equipped vehicle is stolen within the <br />covered areas and not recover~d within tw~nty four hours of the time it was <br />reported to police, we will refund the purchase price of the LOJACK Retrieve <br />Unit up to a maximum of $595.00. This warranty applies for a period of two <br />years from the date of installation. See the owner's kit for the complete- <br />recovery warranty. <br /> <br />;f <br /> <br />Qperational Inspections <br />,X early operational inspections are recommended. It -is also strongly. . <br />recommended that LOJACK owners have inspections conducted following an <br />accident or after any electrical work (such as radio or phone installation)' is <br />performed on their vehicle to preserve warranty privilege. There is a modes~ <br />fee for an operational inspection that will be quoted when the customer calls <br />the LOJACK Installation ~epartment to schedule an appointment. <br /> <br />Extended Warrant!. <br />LOJACK owners have the 'option to extend then- current parts and labor- <br />warranty and their recovery warranty for as long as they own tlieirvehicle. . <br />Extended warranty order forms are in LOJACK owner's kits (except in <br />California). In addition, mailings are sent out to LOJACK owners.
