<br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AND PUBLIC FINANCING <br /> <br />Sunny Isles Beach will need to identify local and external sources of <br />funding for the implementation of public infrastructure projects <br />including roads. parks. municipal facilities. and utility improvements to <br />support the framework of strategic plan physical enhancements. <br /> <br />LCG will address preliminary estimates of costs for physical <br />improvements to roadways. public open space. and pedestrian <br />systems and provide categorical sources and best fit programs for <br />obtaining regional. state and federal funds. Where appropriate. pass- <br />through funding mechanisms including assessments, impact fees. <br />business improvement districts and special fees will be identified. <br /> <br />PROPOSED FEE SCHEDULE <br /> <br />To accomplish the above-described program. Luft Consulting is <br />proposing the following fee schedule: <br /> <br />Revitalization Plan for Collins Avenue Corridor - <br />Revitalization Plan for Sunny Isles Boulevard Corridor - <br /> <br />$45,000.00 <br />$45,000.00 <br /> <br />A time line for completing these studies will be dependent on the <br />completion of the current comprehensive planning program and <br />development regulations being drafted by this office for Sunny Isles <br />Beach. In addition, it is contemplated that considerable community <br />involvement will be needed to prepare the plans and is included <br />within the above fee schedule but will have to be discussed further <br />with the City to better establish the extent and depth of the public <br />meeting effort before a realistic time line for the study can be <br />established. <br /> <br />Again, we thank you for this opportunity to assist the City of Sunny Isles <br />Beach in its on-going efforts to plan for the growth and improvement <br />of this exciting community.
