i"'.lO , r- Cash Flow Summary for Police Facilities Figure 19 provides a summary of projected police impact fee revenue and expenditures for capital facilities. Through impact fees, new development will contribute approximately $58,000 per year for police buildings and vehicles. During the next five years, the Sunny Isles Beach Police Department will expand their vehicle fleet by approximately six vehicles in order to accommodate new development. The major cost, which begins in Year 2 of the cash flow analysis, is debt service payments of approximately $242,000 per year for the new Police Headquarters. To cover the debt service payments, Sunny Isles Beach must contribute approximately $220,000 annually from the General Fund. The initial fund balance of $134,000 may be used to offset the projected revenue shortfall in 2002 and 2003.
