2.8 Database Reprogramming Mobile radio or system database corrections will be provided by CII at no cost to The Customer if the correction is necessary because of error or omission on CII's part for the life of this Agreement. Database changes made at The Customer's request will be performed at, the hourly rates listed in Exhibit D to this agreement. 2.9 Additions and Deletions The quantity of units to be maintained/serviced may be added to or subtracted from the contract while the contract is in force. New units purchased in any given budget year may be added to the contract in the month following the expiration date of the manufacturer's warranty. All units added to or removed from service in a particular month, will be added to or dropped from charges to the user the following month. A letter of authorization will be required to add to or delete from the Exhibit A, Schedule 1. All units are to be identified with LID number, serial number, and property number. 2.10 Year 2000 Compliance All services and goods provided under this agreement will be within current year 2000 compliance as provided for by equipment manufactures. 2.11 General All services provided under this Agreement are only applicable to the mobile radio products and systems as listed in Exhibit A Schedule 1 of this Agreement. 2.12 Batteries Due to the variation and inconstancy of battery manufactures all portable batteries used on portable equipment covered under this agreement must be certified by the radio manufacture for use on that unit.
