All of the special equipment is subject to inspection and approval from the <br />City of Aventura prior to award contract_ <br />D. Contractor shall keep all equipment maintained in proper working order at <br />all times. Failure of contractor to properly maintain and keep equipment in <br />working order at all times may result in revocation of contract. <br />2. Mow all Bermuda turf, not to exceed a 1 1/2" height, with a `Reel' type mower. <br />Remove all clippings with each cut. <br />3. Mow and edge all Bermuda turf a minimum of every seven (7) days from October 1 , <br />through April 1,1` and every five (5) days from April 1¢ through October 1" (60 cuts). Turf <br />shall be cross -cut. <br />4. Use 'Choice' mole cricket control (on Bermuda turf) chemical once per year during <br />the month of May. Follow manufacturers instructions for application methods and <br />amounts. <br />5. Apply Diazanon, on Bermuda turf, for worm control, once during the month of <br />October and once during the month of April (2 applications)_ Follow manufacturers <br />instructions for application methods and amounts. <br />6. For fungus control, on Bermuda turf, and on an "as needed" and curative basis only_ <br />Apply Daconil fungicide at the first appearance of fungus_ Follow manufacturers <br />instructions for application methods and amounts. <br />7. For weed control, on Bermuda turf, use (2) applications of Pendulum or Ronstar. The <br />first application is to occur in March and the second application is to occur in September. <br />Follow manufacturers instructions for application methods and amounts. <br />8. For fertilization on Bermuda turf apply Lesco 13-2-13 a minimum of (6) times per year <br />to effect 8 pounds of nitrogen per 1000 sq. Ft. per year. Contractor is responsible for <br />contracting with A &. L Laboratories, Pompano Beach, Florida, (954)972-3255, to <br />complete (2) soil analysis per year to verify the minor element requirements, and adjust <br />fertilizer application as needed.
