Kocide-Mancozeb. <br />2. Alternate use of fungicides as dictated by existing <br />conditions. <br />3. Treatment for lethal yellowing: Apply an injection of OTC, <br />5-8 cc. Per tree per application. These treatments are to <br />occur on an "as needed" basis only and as directed by City. <br />C. Insect Control <br />1. Six applications per year, or as needed to control insect <br />infestation, using Orthene, Cygon, or Lindane. (Lindane is <br />2. to be used in limited amounts and only if evidence of <br />beetles is present). <br />3. Any spraying of top of palms must occur on weekdays <br />between the hours of 4 A.M. and 7 A.M. <br />3. Requirements <br />A. Date Palm pest control contractor must be a State of Florida <br />licensed pest control operator within a minimum of (5) years of <br />experience in this type of work. <br />B. Observation: It shall be the contractors obligation to perform <br />regular monthly inspections of the palms and report to the City any <br />site condition which may be detrimental to the health and vitality <br />of the palms. Further, the Contractor is responsible to report the <br />development of disease or other problems along with <br />recommended solutions. These reports are to be written and <br />should be received by the City no later than ten days after each <br />inspection. It is required that the City be notified in advance of <br />planned activities in order to allow them to witness and record the <br />applications. <br />
