Treatment for lethal yellowing - apply an injection of OTC, 5-8 cc. Per <br />tree, per application. <br />2. These treatments are to occur on an "as needed" basis only and as directed <br />by City. <br />H. Bougainvillea Only <br />Fertilize four times per year (equally spaced) with -1/3 cup per plant of <br />LESCO 8-10-10 (or equal). Keep all fertilizer minimum 6" away from <br />trunk of plant. In addition to this fertilization, fertilize at each "tip -back" <br />pruning time. <br />I. Insect and disease activity, other than Date Palms, will be treated on an "as - <br />needed" basis upon inspection. Required service calls between scheduled <br />maintenance will be at Contractor's expense. <br />N. HERBICIDE APPLICATIONS <br />1. Trees and palms within lawn area: Spray area 2" away from trunk with Round -up by <br />Monsanto Manufacturing Company. Do not spray tree leaves, suckers, or open wounds. Do not <br />use weed -eater for trees and palms within lawn area. (Do not spray herbicide near Phoenix Date <br />Palms). <br />2. Joints and cracks in all public sidewalks and curbs within project limits, shall be weed free at <br />all times. Use Round -up by Monsanto Manufacturing Company to completely control weed <br />growth. Frequency of applications will be as dictated by weed growth. <br />O. PREVENTIVE OR CORRECTIVE INSECT CONTROL <br />1. Lawn: Spray all lawn areas, as required, for control of all chinch bugs, army worms, sod <br />webworm, fungus and other pests. Spraying shall be accomplished (at Contractor's expense) by <br />State of Florida and Dade County licensed pesticide control company, using Integrated Pest <br />Management Principles. <br />2. Shrubs: Spray shrubs and ground cover (excluding bougainvillea), as needed, with Orthene <br />
