Memorandum <br />March 19, 2002 <br />Page 2 <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br />Members of the City Manager appointed Technology Steering Committee have made creating a web <br />site its main goal. This action is a step towards meeting that goal. The Technology Steering <br />Committee appointed a sub group (Web Site Work Group) to review policy issues and gather for <br />consideration information for publication. Along with the Administrative Services Director, the <br />Information Technology Manager, who is a member of the committee and work group, makes <br />recommendations for hardware and software issues. While this resolution deals with web design, <br />staff anticipates bringing before commission at the April meeting recommendations for web hosting <br />and maintenance. Funding for this project is available through our Admin.
