I thought it <br />was informative and well done, and was a chance to see how you are, albeit <br />indirectly. For us, it was a little dated. As you know, Superintendent Rodriguez <br />has retired as of the beginning of this month. <br /> <br />We at the Chicago Housing Authority believe very emphatically in community <br />policing, although implementing it during a series of power struggles among the <br />gangs and with a police force, some of whom do not support it, is challenging. <br /> <br />You will be pleased to know that Chief 0' Shield continues to use your nine <br />volume review of security at the eRA as his bible. We try to implement more <br />and more of it as we go along. <br /> <br />Again, thanks for the tape. I am passing it along to other program directors <br />within the CHA.
