<br />1.08 ON-SITE CONDmONS <br /> <br />A. By bidding, CONTRACTOR acknowledges tbathe has visited the site and is familiar <br />with the site and all conditions under which this work is to occur. <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.01 MATERIALS <br /> <br />A. Adhesives: Silicone adhesive used for installing sign items shall be as manufactured <br />by General Electric, Dow Coming, or equal. Polyfoam or "Isotac" contact adhesive <br />tape, manufactured by 3-M, shall be used in conjunction with silicone adhesives' for <br />installation of signs, in minimum thicknesses available. <br /> <br />B. All Specified Metals: Aluminum shall be suitable for ornameIital, architectural <br />Work. Surface finish shall be smooth, free of extrusion marks or imperfections. <br />Alloy shall be selected to meet the structural requirements of the specific <br />application and finished on all surfaces to resist corrosion in the environment in <br />which it is installed The aluminum alloy shall be 5052 which is the strongest <br />non-heat-treatable sheet and plate alloy in common use. It has good workability <br />and is tough with excellent resistance to salt water corrosion.
