<br />F. General: <br /> <br />1. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for the quality of all materials and <br />workmanship of any fIrm or individual who acts as a sub-contractor. <br /> <br />All work under this contract shall be performed by skilled craftsmen under <br />supervision of trained foremen, experienced in the trade or craft required to <br />accomplish the Work and produce products of high quality. The <br />CONTRACTOR shall guarantee all materials and workmanship for two <br />years after date of acceptance of Work by CITY and CONSULTANT. <br /> <br />2. Written dimensions on drawings shall have precedence over scaled <br />dimensions. CONTRACTOR shall field verify and be responsible for all <br />dimensions and conditions shown by these drawings. Shop details must be <br />approved by CONSULTANT prior to fabrication <br /> <br />3. CONSULT ANT shall be notified by CONTRACTOR of any discrepancies <br />in drawings, in-fIeld dimensions or conditions and/or changes required in <br />construction details. <br /> <br />4. CONTRACTOR may not manufacture, reproduce, or exhibit these designs, <br />or modify them for any other purpose outside of this current contract without <br />written approval of CONSULTANT. <br /> <br />1.06 WARRANTY <br /> <br />A. Warranty: Submit for CITY'S documentation. Furnish written warranty, as specified <br />by CONSULTANT, signed by the CONTRACTOR and Installer, agreeing to repair <br />or replace Work which has failed as a result of defects in materials or workmanship. <br />Fabricator is responsible to acquire any authorization necessary to provide <br />manufacturer's warranty for all materials and components. Upon notification of <br />such defects within the warranty period, make necessary repairs or replacement at <br />the convenience of the CITY within a period of two days from notification by CITY. <br /> <br />1.07 MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Maintenance and Operating Manuals: Submit for CITY'S documentation. Furnish <br />complete manuals describing the materials, devices and procedures to be followed <br />in operating, cleaning and maintaining the Work. Include manufacturer's brochures <br />and parts lists describing the actual materials used in the Work, including metal <br />alloys, finishes, and other major components.
