Proposal No, 034466 <br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLED BEACH <br />Collins Avenue (SR AlA) Median Closure Traffic Study <br /> <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br /> <br />The project scope of services includes data collection for five (5) intersection and six (6) medians for <br />six (6) hours a day for three (3) days. Accident analysis and summary, safety analysis and <br />documentation of the analysis effort, analysis with Florida Access Management Guidelines and the <br />work shop to present the preliminary recommendation to citizens, business groups and other <br />interested parties and receive feedback on the proposed closure. <br /> <br />I. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />A. Data collection consisting of manual or machine turning movement counts for five (5) <br />intersections and six (6) median openings, three (3) days, a total of six (6) hours per day <br />from the hours of7:0bam - 9:00am, 1 1:00am -1:00pm, and 3:00pm - 6:00pm. <br />B. Obtain tabulate and summarize accident data for mid-block, intersections and median <br />opemngs. <br />C. Safety analysis and documentation. Analyze the intersections medians using Highway <br />Capacity Software (HCS) or Synchro Software whichever is suitable to reach a conclusion <br />on delays and level of service. <br />D. Analyze the median openings location, volumes, and accident with respect to Access <br />Management. <br />E. Conduct one (1) workshop at an appropriate location along the corridor to present the <br />preliminary concept to the business and residents, and get some feedback. <br />F. Present and submit "final" concept drawings on Aerial photos for City approval. <br /> <br />2. BASIS OF COMPENSATION: <br /> <br />, Hourly rates with an estimated fee of $39,095.00 plus reimbursables at $3,909.50 with a total <br />not to exceed amount of $43,004.50. Payments to be made monthly. <br /> <br />3.
