<br />') <br /> <br />WeJ,lIlticipateusing the following consultants in carrying out the project: <br /> <br />Donald Jacobs has extensive experience in all aspects of municipal management. <br />He served as Town Manager of Plymouth and Southbridge, Massachusetts; <br />overseeing all aspects of municipal administration, strategic planning, financial <br />and capital planning. While in Plymouth, he initiated and implemented activity <br />and program-based performance measurement standards, and reorganized the <br />town's organizational structure (18 departments) resulting in increased <br />performance and organizational efficiencies. <br /> <br />As a Senior Associate with Bennett/Yarger Associates since 1998, Mr, Jacobs has <br />extensive consulting expertise in human resources, labor matters, organizational <br />analysis, financial planning, management training, classification and <br />compensation services. Mr. Jacobs has recently completed several municipal <br />organization and operational studies including the Town of Salisbury, MA <br />(Finance Department), Town of Sterling, MA. (financial services), City of <br />Brockton, MA (financial services), and the Town of Southhridge, MA. (Public <br />Works). <br /> <br />') <br /> <br />Mr. Jacobs holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree from the George Washington <br />University in Washington D.C. and a Master's Degree in Business and Urban <br />Planning from Columbia University in New York. <br /> <br />Michael LaFave, Michael J. Lafave is President and founder of Michael J. <br />LaFave Associates, a firm that provides Human Resources and Organizational <br />Management Consulting services. In addition to over fifteen- (15) years of <br />Human Resources Consulting in organizational development, leadership and <br />management development, career development, outplacement, employment and <br />human resources outsourcing, Michael has over twenty years in Corporate Human <br />Resources Management. His broad corporate human resources background <br />includes positions for a number of well-known regional and national fmns <br />including GTE Corporation. Michael's background includes international and <br />domestic human resources experience, having dealt with programs in Europe, <br />Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
