Arias, Information Technology Director <br /> Date: October 14, 2004 <br /> Re: Security System for Sunny Isles Beach Government Center <br /> Recommendation: <br /> It is recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached resolution. <br /> Reasons: <br /> The City desires a comprehensive security and access control system for the new Sunny Isles <br /> Beach Government Center. The City issued Request for Proposals #04-08-01, following <br /> financial policies and procedures, in order to obtain the most competitive pricing available. We <br /> received five proposals in response to this RFP. <br /> After a thorough review of the bid responses received by the City, ADT Security Services, Inc., <br /> the lowest bidder, was selected as the best value for the City in terms of the final product, cost, <br /> and conformance to the requirements set forth in our Request for Proposals #04-08-01 and <br /> Addendums. <br />
