Arrange with the Owner to provide water for construction purposes. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Install branch piping with taps located so that water is available throughout the <br />construction by the use of hoses. <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />Install at each and every connection to the Owner water supply a backflow preventor <br />meeting the requirements of ANSI A40.6, latest revision. Contractor shall be required to <br />meter all water used. <br /> <br />2.04 TEMPORARY SANITARY FACILITIES <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Provide sanitary facilities in compliance with laws and regulations. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Service, clean and maintain facilities and enclosures. <br /> <br />2.05 TEMPORARY HEAT AND VENTILATION <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Provide temporary heat and ventilation as required to maintain adequate environmental <br />conditions to facilitate progress of the Work, to meet specified minimum conditions for <br />the installation of materials, and to protect materials and finishes from damage due to <br />temperature or humidity. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Provide adequate forced ventilation of enclosed areas for curing of installed materials, to <br />disperse humidity, and to prevent hazardous accumulations of dust, fumes, vapors or <br />gases. <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />Portable heaters shall be standard approved units complete with controls. <br /> <br />D. Pay all costs of installation, maintenance, operation and removal, and for fuel consumed. <br /> <br />E. <br /> <br />Provide connections to existing facilities, extend and supplement with temporary units as <br />required to comply with requirements. Pay all costs of installation, maintenance, <br />operation and removal. Owner will pay costs of fuel used from the existing system. <br /> <br />2.06 TEMPORARY TELEPHONE SERVICE <br /> <br />06/05 <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Arrange with local telephone service company, provide direct line telephone service at <br />the construction site for the use of personnel and employees. Service required: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />One direct line instrument in Contractor's Field Office for Dade County. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />One direct line instrument in Field Office of Engineer with local access from <br />Dade County. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />One direct line facsimile (FAX) machine in Contractor's Field Office. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Other instruments at the option of the Contractor, or as required by regulations. <br /> <br />01510-2 <br /> <br />03-4138.B <br />
