The manufacturer's warranty period shall be concurrent with the Contractor's <br />for one (1) year commencing at the time of acceptance by the Owner (see Section 01030). <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining certificates for equipment warranty for all <br />major equipment specified under division 7, 11, 13, 14, 15 and 16 and which has a 1 HP <br />motor or which lists for more than $1,000. The Engineer reserves the right to request <br />warranties for equipment not classified as major. The Contractor shall still warrant <br />equipment not considered to be "major" in the Contractor's one-year warranty period even <br />though certificates of warranty may not be required. <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />In the event that the equipment manufacturer or supplier is unwilling to provide a one-year <br />warranty commencing at the time of Owner acceptance, the Contractor shall obtain from <br />the manufacturer a two (2) year warranty commencing at the time of equipment delivery to <br />the job site.
