Index templates are created <br />based on the characteristics of a particular record set. For example, Human Resource files would have a <br />structured template, Client or patient records would have a different template. Templates can have up to <br />32 different fields and up to 256 characters per field entry. Template fields can have 'drop down' lists for <br />common field values.
