Hines, City Clerk <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor and City Commission ( '\ <br />\ \ <br />-, \ <br />Susan Simpson, Cultural & Human Services Direct6t-, <br />( {/ <br />''] <br /> <br />March 16, 2006 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF COLOR AND DESIGN FOR COMMUNITY SHUTTLE <br />BUSES <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />It is recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached Resolution to approve the color <br />and design of the shutde bus fleet. <br /> <br />REASONS <br /> <br />On 2/16/06 the City Commission approved the purchase of two new shutde buses and expressed a <br />desire to "change the look" of the Shutde Bus Fleet. A workshop was held to discuss the new <br />design options. Per that workshop, the consensus was to change the design of the fleet to <br />Design <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION <br /> <br />The two shutde buses authorized for purchase on 2/16/06, via Resolution 2006-884, will be revised <br />to reflect the new design choice. The three remaining shutde buses will be re-painted and re-striped <br />to match the new buses.
