TEAM ORGANIZATION <br /> <br />ABOUT THE MERCER GROUP, INC. <br /> <br />The Mercer Group, Inc. will be the sole firm providing all services as described in this proposal. <br />This proposal has been made without collusion with any other person or entity submitting a <br />proposal pursuant to the RFP. <br /> <br />The Mercer Group, Inc. is a rnanagement consulting firm incorporated in the State of Georgia <br />and operating nationwide. Founded by James L. Mercer, a long-term public management <br />consultant, The Mercer Group, Inc., provides managernent consulting services to state and local <br />governnIents, special districts, and private sector clients. The company's services include: <br /> <br />· Cornpensation and classification studies; <br />· Executive recruitrnent; <br />· Organization and operations analysis; <br />. Productivity improvement; <br />. Strategic planning; <br />· Managernent systerns; <br />· Organization development and training; <br />. Privatization; <br />. Policy studies; <br />· Budget evaluation services; and <br />· General managernent consulting. <br /> <br />Mr. Mercer started his own firm in 1981 and, in 1984, rnerged it with another consulting firm, <br />Wolfe & Associates, Inc. On June 1,1986, Mr. Mercer acquired the Human Resource and <br />Organizational Consulting Practice of Wolfe & Associates, Inc. This acquisition formed the <br />basis for Mercer, Slavin & Nevins, Inc.
