<br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />RACHLIN COHEN & HOLTZ CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br />CONTRACT NO: C0607-093 <br /> <br />THIS CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") <br />is made in triplicate, this ~ day of ,j 1.( l\J ~ , 2007, by and between the CITY OF <br />SUNNY ISLES BEACH, Florida, (hereinafter referred to as "City"), and RACHLIN COHEN <br />& HOLTZ, LLP, (hereinafter referred to as "Consultant") whose Federal I.D. # is <br /> <br />RECIT ALS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is in need of a professional auditing consultant to audit the basic <br />financial statements of the City as of and for the fiscal years ending September 30, 2007, 2008 <br />and 2009 and to provide an opinion on the conformity of this material with accounting principles <br />generally accepted in the United States, ("Services); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Consultant will also provide additional documentation, including <br />reporting on internal control, that will be subject to the auditing procedures applied in the audit <br />of the basic financial statements, ("Services"), as more fully described in Attachment "A"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Consultant will provide these auditing Services for the City for the <br />years ended September 30, 2007, 2008 and 2009, as more fully described in Attachment "A"; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Consultant represents that it has expertise to perform these Services; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to retain Consultant to continue to perform these Services <br />which Consultant provided to the City for the fiscal years 2007, 2008 and 2009. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and for the mutual covenants, <br />representations and warranties and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and <br />adequacy of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />I . RECITALS. The Recitals set forth above are hereby incorporated into this Agreement <br />and made a part hereof for reference. <br /> <br />2. CONSULTING SERVICES.
