At the time in which it was drafted, it was uncertain how <br />the funds would be managed. After 3 years, the OCITT finds it necessary to detail their <br />requirements. <br /> <br />For FY 2006-07 the City of Sunny Isles Beach anticipates receiving $500,000 in revenues from <br />the transit system surtax. A minimum of 20% must be used for public transit, such as the <br />funding of our shuttle bus program. The other 80% can be used for anything that is <br />transportation related - i.e. bus shelters, cross walks, street lighting, road repairs, etc. <br />
