<br /> <br />Ms. Storz has a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Portland State University and on-going <br />FEMA Disaster Debris Management training since 1999. Ms. Storz has completed following FEMA courses: <br />IS-I, IS-3, IS-l 00, IS-200, IS-253, IS-393, IS-630, IS-632, IS-700, IS-800 and P A Operations I (lS-631). Ms. <br />Storz has worked on the following disasters: TS Bonnie, Charley, Frances, Ivan, Jeanne, Dennis, Katrina and <br />Wilma. <br /> <br />Ms. Storz lead an SRI team that drafting a statewide Debris Management Plan for FDOT that was recently ap- <br />proved by FEMA. With vast experience with large-scaie debris management projects during the 2004 and <br />2005 hurricane seasons in Florida, combined with her extensive background in solid waste management dem- <br />onstrate that Ms. Storz possesses the necessary skills and experience to act as the City of Sunny Isles Beach's <br />Project Manager for debris removal management for a disaster event of any magnitude. <br /> <br />Mr. Robert Swan of Dewberry & Davis, LLC will be assigned as the Debris Management Consultant to assist <br />SRI in the develop the Debris Management Plan and the Request for Proposals for Debris Removal and Dis- <br />posal portions of the Scope of Services. Mr. Swan has 39 years experience in the emergency management <br />field and is recognized as a leader in debris management planning. He is an experienced trainer and has been <br />involved, at ground zero, in numerous post-disaster debris management situations. He knows, through actual <br />experience, the issues and solutions to the debris management challenges experienced in a disaster event. <br /> <br />Mr. Swan has developed Debris Management Plans for Pinellas, Palm Beach and Hillsborough Counties, Flor- <br />ida; Mobile and Baldwin Counties, Alabama; Wake County, North Carolina; Fort Bend County, Texas; and <br />the cities of Houston and Garland, Texas, and Washington, DC. He has also prepared Scopes of Work for De- <br />bris Removal contracts for numerous counties and cities in Florida and Texas. <br /> <br />Mr. Swan has provided technical review and recommendations on numerous FEMA applicant debris eligibility <br />issue appeals and has a thorough understanding of the FEMA Public Assistance Pilot Program requirements. <br />He recently updated the Debris Management Plans for Hillsborough County, Florida and the City of Garland, <br />Texas to meet the requirements of the FEMA Public Assistance Pilot Program.
