Such review and approvals or other action will not extend <br />to means, methods, techniques, equipment choice and usage, sequences, or <br />procedures of construction or to related safety precautions and programs. <br /> <br />Inspections and Tests. Require such special Inspections or tests <br />of Contracto(s work as KHA deems appropriate, and receive and review <br />cer.tlflcates of Inspections within KHA's area of responsibility or of tests and <br />approvals required by laws and regulations or the Contract Documents. KHA's <br />revlew of such certificates will be for the purpose of determining that the results <br />cet1tf1ed Indicate compliance with the Contract Documents and will not constitute <br />an independent evaluation that the content or procedures of such inspections, <br />tests. or approvals comply with the requirements of the Contract Documents. <br />KHA shall be entitled to rely on the results of such tests and the facts being <br />certtfled. <br /> <br />Task 10- Additional Services <br /> <br />The following services are not Included in the scope of services, but can be <br />pro'iided as additional services If authorized by the Client. Compensation for <br />additional services will be agreed to prior to their performance. <br /> <br />· Coordination with appropriate agencies to obtain roadway plans. <br /> <br />· Plan revisions outside of those described in the above tasks. <br /> <br />· Permitting with agencies other than Miami-Dade County and the <br />Florida Department of Transportation. <br /> <br />· Attendance at additional meetings or at public hearings. <br /> <br />· Preparation of easement exhibit. <br /> <br />· Preparation of traffic signal interconnect plans. <br /> <br />· Preparation of emergency vehicle pre-emption plans. <br /> <br />· Traffic counts to determine initial signal timings. <br /> <br />· Intersection turning movement and trafflc counts. <br /> <br />· Preparation of sealed striping and pavement marking plans. <br /> <br />· Development of design modiflcatlons due to revisions In Florida <br />Department of Transportation or Miami-Oade design standards. <br /> <br />· Signal Design modifications based on Construction Plan Revisions. <br /> <br />· Additional plan sets not specified In Task 6. <br /> <br />· Certification of as-bunt drawings, provided by Contractor. <br /> <br />. <br />TEL 581 &45 0lI85 <br />FAX 581 8lS3 8175 <br /> <br />,:"f) <br />U <br />
