Therefore, the Contractor shall <br />perform a selective demolition, and subsequent repair, of the stucco <br />ceiling in that particular area. Refer to detail 4/A701 of the <br />Construction Drawings, for a detail of the Ceiling in question. <br />f) Please advise if monies should be included to remove and relocate the <br />existing fire alarm stroke (not shown on drawings) on the interior side of <br />the new proposed door opening. <br />Response: There is an existing Fire Alarm that will need to be <br />relocated to the side of the new :fd floor Lobby door. <br />g) Please advise if existing site lighting pole (not shown on the drawings) <br />underneath the new roof slab in front of the post office will be removed <br />and relocated. <br />Response: There is an existing Light Pole in front of the existing <br />Post Office that will be relocated. <br />h) Please clarify the construction of the column covers at the post office <br />canopy. Stud size, gauge. Is engineering approval required for the <br />design criteria? <br />Response: Column covers at the Post Office canopy shall be <br />assembled as per detail 12/A701 of the Construction Drawings. Stud <br />sizing, spacing, gage, etc. shall comply with Florida Building Code <br />(FBC) Chapter 22. Contractor shall submit Shop Drawings for <br />Structural Engineer approval, prior to assembly of all Steel <br />structures subject to Lateral Loads. <br />i) Please dictate the roofing type desired for the proposed new work. The <br />specification book contains multiple roof types but does not specify the <br />type for the new roof. <br />Response: New concrete roof shall have a 3 ply roofing <br />manufactured by GAF, consisting of: hot-mopped base ply of <br />GlasBase Plus, followed by 3 plies of GlasPly Premier, and using a <br />Cap sheet of GlasCap Plus. <br /> <br />SA Consultants. LLC: <br />a) Stair enclosure, sheet A 103 and A701 do not show 5" x 6" aluminum <br />columns top and bottom anchorage on existing pre-cast stars and existing <br />roofing. Please provide detail. <br />Response: Stair Enclosure assembly and details shall be installed as <br />per NOA guidelines.
