The Contractor shall keep on the <br />job sufficient personnel, and equipment to meet the requirements of the work. <br /> <br />The plant and equipment sha]] be kept in a satisfactory operating condition and capable of safely and <br />efficiently performing the work as set forth in the Plans and Specifications. The equipment and aJ1 <br />operations shall be subject to inspection by the Engineer at all times. The Contractor shaJ1 submit for <br />approval by the Engineer a description of the type of materials and equipment to be used; and the <br />method of procedure to be used in the performance of the work. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Restoration of Propertv: <br /> <br />Section 7-1 1 .1- PRESER V A TION OF PROPERTY: This sub article is expanded to include: <br /> <br />Property public or private if damaged during construction or removed for the convenience of the <br /> <br />work, shaJ1 be repaired or replaced at the expense of the Contractor in a manner acceptable to the <br />Engineer, prior to the final acceptance of the work. Such facilities shaJ1 include, but are not limited <br />to: signalization equipment and misceJ1aneous hardware removed from the construction site, <br />driveways, waJ1s, fences, footings or underground utilities. This section also includes the reposition <br />of damage to streets beyond the normal trench excavation, pavement milling and utility relocation <br />(when applicable). Reposition of pavement at trench excavation shall be included in storm sewer <br />construction unit price. <br /> <br />Note: AJ1 street name signs and mail boxes shall remain in place during the period of construction <br />except those that are required to be relocated due to interference with the actual construction. A]] <br />signs or mail boxes that are relocated or damaged by the Contractor during the course of the work <br />shal1 be re-instaJ1ed or replaced at the proper location, as soon as possible at the Contractor's cost. <br /> <br />Prior to the removal of any traffic control signs that interfere with the construction, the Contractor <br />shal1 provide temporary signing or other provisions to assure a continuous flow of traffic under at <br />least the same conditions as previously existed. AJ1 signs that are found to be unserviceable shal1 be <br />reported to the City of Sunny Isles Beach Director of Public Works. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />Utilities: <br /> <br />Section 7-11.6 UTILITIES: This sub-article is expanded to include: <br /> <br />Oct. 2007, Special Provisions <br /> <br />Page 3 of 15 <br />
