The work classification should be sub-divided to the extent necessary to provide <br />adequate detail and shall also include such items as mobilization, field office setup, shop drawing <br />review, and equipment and materials delivery, etc. <br /> <br />16. <br /> <br />Award of Contract and Time for Completion: <br /> <br />The Contract A ward shall be to the qualified bidder submitting the lowest bid, whose proposal <br />complies with all the requirements necessary to render it formal. <br /> <br />All work under the terms of this Contract shall be completed within THREE HUNDRED SIXTY <br />FIVE (365) calendar days from the effective date ofthe Notice to Proceed. <br /> <br />17. <br /> <br />Test Results: <br /> <br />The City assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of the test results as shown in the Plans and <br />Specifications. They are included only as a general indication of the materials likely to be found <br />adjacent to the holes bored at the site of the proposed Work. The Contractor shall examine this date <br />and make his own interpretation of the subsoil investigation and other preliminary data, and he shall <br />base his bid on his opinion of the conditions likely to be encountered. <br /> <br />The bidder's submission of his proposal shall be considered "prima facie" evidence that he has made <br />his examination as described in Section 2, Article 4 of the Florida Department of Transportation <br />Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. <br /> <br />18. <br /> <br />As-Built Drawings: <br /> <br />Tnree (3) sets of con1plete '"As-Built Dra\vings" giving information relative to location and depth of <br />pipes, manholes, etc., shall be accurately recorded by the Contractor and submitted to the engineer <br />prior to final acceptance of the work. All elevations shall be taken by a Florida Registered Surveyor <br />and shown on the record drawings. <br /> <br />19. <br /> <br />Maintenance of Traffic (Section 102) <br /> <br />Section l02-1.1 - DESCRIPTION: This sub article is amended to include: <br /> <br />And the applicable portions of the Metropolitan Miami Dade County Public Works Manual, Part 1, <br />Standard Details, as pertain to the maintenance of traffic, are part of these Contract Documents. <br />Traffic control notes and details pertaining to the Maintenance of Traffic (Traffic Control) are <br />included in the Plans for this Project. <br /> <br />No work shall commence on this Project or any portion thereof without implementation of the <br />Maintenance of Traffic Plan. Excavated or other material stored adjacent to, or partially upon a <br />roadway pavement, shall be adequately marked for traffic safety at all times. <br /> <br />The Contractor shall provide the necessary access to all adjacent property during construction. <br />Special attention is called to the provisions contained in sub-article 102-5.5, "Access for Residences <br />and Business". <br /> <br />The Contractor shall also provide access at all times to South Florida Water Management District <br /> <br />Oct. 2007.
