Product Data: Collect into a single submittal for each element of <br />construction or system. Includes printed information such as <br />manufacture's installation instructions, catalog cuts, standard color charts, <br />roughing-in diagrams and templates, standard wiring diagrams and <br />performance curves. <br /> <br />F. Samples: Full size, fully fabricated samples cured and finished as <br />specified and physically identical with the material or product proposed. <br /> <br />G. Submit shop drawings/product data for the following work: <br />1. Restroom Building <br />2. Light Fixtures and Materials Used <br /> <br />1.06 QUALITY CONTROL <br /> <br />A. The Contractor shall provide inspections, tests and similar quality control <br />services, specified in individual Specification Sections and required by <br />governing authorities, except where they are specifically indicated to be <br />the Owner's responsibility, or are provided by another identified entity. <br /> <br />1. Costs for these services shall be included in the Contract Sum. <br />2. The Owner will engage and pay for the services of an independent <br />agency to perform inspections and tests specified as the Owner's <br />responsibility. <br /> <br />B. The Contractor is responsible for and shall pay costs of retesting when <br />required by Engineer or Owner and of additional testing needed or <br />required by the Contractor. <br /> <br />C. The Contractor shall pay costs for additional trips to the project by the <br />agency when scheduled times for tests and inspections are canceled and <br />agency is not notified sufficiently in advance of cancellation to avoid the <br />trip. <br /> <br />1.07 MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />A. Substitutions: After Bidding period, up to 30 days after date of Notice to <br />Proceed, the Engineer will consider written requests from Contractor for <br />proposed substitutions of products. Subsequent requests will be <br />considered only in case of product unavailability or other condition beyond <br />control of the Contractor. Submit a separate request for each proposed <br />substitution; 2 copies each on the Substitution Request (SR) available <br />from the Engineer. <br /> <br />1. Do not order or install substitute products without written <br />acceptance from the Engineer. <br />2.
