Engineer will determine acceptability of substitution. <br />4. Only one request for substitution for each product will be <br />considered. If not accepted, Contractor shall provide specified <br />product. <br /> <br />B. Product selection is governed by the Contract Documents and governing <br />regulations, not by previous project experience. <br /> <br />1. Where a single or multiple products or manufacturers are named, <br />provide one of the products indicated or submit a request for <br />substitution for any product or manufacturer not named. <br />2. Where the Specifications only require compliance with performance <br />requirements, an imposed code, standard or regulation, select a <br />product that complies with the requirements, standards, codes or <br />regulations specified. <br />3. Manufacturers named in a Specification section are those <br />manufacturers considered capable of manufacturing products <br />conforming to the specified requirements. The naming of a <br />particular manufacturer does not imply acceptance or approval of <br />just any standard product of that manufacturer. <br /> <br />1.08 RECORD DOCUMENTS <br /> <br />A. Record construction information and changes on a set of Contract <br />Drawings and Project Manual, verified and annotated by an independent <br />Land Surveyor registered in the State of Florida. <br /> <br />B. Keep Record Documents current with construction progress and do not <br />conceal any work until required information is recorded. Legibly mark to <br />record actual construction: <br /> <br />1. Horizontal and vertical control location of underground utility piping, <br />cables and lines referenced to permanent surface improvements. <br />2. Location of miscellaneous components, secondary systems and <br />accessories. <br />3. Elevations of surface improvements and depths of underground <br />elements of construction. <br />4. Location and extent of interface with services and existing adjacent <br />elements. <br />5. Manufacturer, trade name and catalogue number of each product <br />and item actually provided. <br /> <br />C. Label each document PROJECT RECORD in 2 inch printed letters <br />followed by the Contractor's name and address and the signature of the <br />Contractor's authorized representative.
