Malcolm Pimie developed the County's Contractor <br />Request for Proposals and assisted the County in the review of the <br />respondents' submittals. Debris Contractors were selected and were <br />issued contracts in early 2007. Malcolm Pirnie developed the <br />County's Disaster Debris Management Plan in 2006 and in 2007 <br />updated the Plan to meet the requirements of the FEMA Pilot <br />Program, which qualifies applicants for an additional 5% <br />reimbursement if certain requirements are met. Malcolm Pirnie is <br />also providing assistance to the county for reimbursements from <br />state and federal agencies, including the Federal Emergency <br />Management Agency and Federal Highway Administration, relating <br />to eligible costs arising from the disaster recovery effort, We are <br />also providing technical assistance for Debris Contractor <br />Procurement, GIS Mapping, and Disaster Debris Management <br />Planning, <br />2004. Malcolm Pirnie led the deployment of the debris assessment teams and first responders and provided an array of <br />post-disaster debris management services following Hurricanes Frances and Jeanne, including: <br /> <br />. Post-disaster debris assessment of unincorporated portions of the county, <br /> <br />. Administration and management of debris contractors for collection of St0I111 <br />debris and operation of temporary debris storage and reduction sites (TDSRS), <br /> <br />. Permitting, operational/environmental oversight, and closeout oversight of five <br />TDSRS and 18 county parks serving as temporary debris drop-off locations, <br /> <br />. Management and scheduling of over 100 quality assurance loading and roving <br />monitors, TDSRS monitors, traffic-control personnel, and administrative staff. <br /> <br />. Supervision of the development and maintenance of a st0I111 debris data <br />management system of load tickets and debris contractor information. <br /> <br />. Review and substantiation of debris contractor <br />invoices for storm debris collection, reduction, and <br />disposal for three debris contractors, <br /> <br />.
