BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT <br /> <br />Prior to and after Hurricane Wilma, SRI personnel were in constant response mode for Lee County. Immediately after the storm, SRI <br />installed project management and up to 60 field and site monitors that facilitated the clean up of roads and staffed the county's five <br />temporary debris storage and reduction sites. SRI monitors also monitored the debris removal from waterways and barrier islands. <br />A total of 60 SRI personnel provided monitoring services to supervise over 150 trucks in the removal of 500,000 cubic yards of <br />debris. <br /> <br />Solid Resources' debris monitoring services included: <br /> <br />. Project management <br />. Debris classification <br />. Field monitoring <br />. Temporary debris storage and reduction (TDSR) site monitoring <br />. Data entry <br />. Truck certifications <br />. Oversight of debris removal from salt and freshwater canals <br />. Stump measurements <br />. Coordination of all debris removal and reduction activities <br /> <br />Field monitors assisted the county in determining the eligibility of debris, monitoring contractor productivity and performance, <br />issuing load tickets, classifying debris, identifying field issues and special needs, documenting, tracking and mapping completed <br />streets, cataloging debris quantities, types and locations. <br /> <br />The SRI project manager was responsible for overall debris monitoring activity involving daily contact with the County debris <br />manager, tracking and scheduling staff and crews, mobilizing, training and adding as many monitors as needed within 24 hours of <br />all requests. <br /> <br />25.
