BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope. size, and cost)

This is a two level fully directional interchange that provides access to and from the airport between US-1
and 1-595. The interchange has been reconstructed to address airport growth and expansion. Florida
DOT and Broward County chose the Design-Build contracting method that required an accelerated design
as well as fast-track construction. Controlling factors, established in the owner's criteria package, included
maintaining airport access and traffic on US-1, right-of-way limitations, bridge construction and
deconstruction over FEC Railway tracks, construction of six precast segmental (4,065 if and four concrete
conventional girder bridges, and deconstruction of four existing segmental bridges.

This project required complex interchange design, segmental bridge design, drainage permitting, wall
design, signing and marking, complex maintenance of traffic, deconstruction of segmental bridges,
surveying and geotechnical.

Cost: $80 Million (design/build)

.

Relevance shows our capabilities on large complex projects including roadway and bridge design and
complex maintenance of traffic. It also shows ability to work on design-build projects with tight schedules.

25. FIRMS FROM SECTION C INVOLVED WITH THIS PROJECT

a.
