Headquartered in Miami, Florida, BERGER AVART is a consulting engineering firm that has been serving clients in South Florida for over 25 years. We are a subsidiary of the Louis Berger Group, one of the largest engineering, economic and environmental planning organizations in the United States. Since BERGER A V ART's incorporation in 1981, we have been serving the needs of a broad client base that includes Broward County Public Schools, various Departments in Miami-Dade County (Water and Sewer, Environmental Resource Management, Public Works, Aviation, and Parks and Recreation, to name a few), the City of Sunny Isles Beach, the City of Coral Gables, the Florida Department of Transportation, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, and other public and private clients. Our multidisciplinary staff of professional engineers and certified technicians is immediately available to respond to the needs of the City of Sunny Isles Beach for this important project. With its experienced and talented staff, BERGER AVART can assure the City of a timely and cost effective solution for each assigned task. We have a proven track record on a multitude of similar projects. Our approach outlined below deals with BERGER AVART's management approach to similar general engineering agreements. Our methods are flexible enough to meet the specific needs of the City. Our foremost priority is to provide maximum support services to the City with minimal supervision. Project Understanding/Similar Project Experience BERGER A V ART has provided engineering services on many similar general consulting engineering contracts. For example, we are currently providing General Engineering Services to the City of Miami Beach, the School Board of Broward County (SBBC), Miami-Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS), and FOOT District VI. We know that a major element for success is a clearly defined scope of services for each assignment. Our first priority will be to ensure that responsibilities are clearly defined and understood, and that requirements, standards, procedures, and constraints are clearly identified. We routinely assist the City of Miami Beach and FOOT District VI in the formulation of the scope definition to ensure a mutual understanding. We also establish project schedules with milestone dates to ensure timely completion of each required project element. This valuable project experience will help us to better serve the City of Sunny Isles Beach's needs.
