FRA has been <br />awarded varous consecutive contracts as a prime consultant. <br /> <br />c, POINT OF CONTACT TELEPHONE NUMBER <br />(305) 375-2090 <br /> <br />The objective of these contracts is to provide services for the following types of work: traffic data collection; <br />traffic engineering; investigations and reports; traffic calming; safety studies; transportation planning; design <br />and plans preparation. The tasks emphasized under this contract are in the areas of design, traffic <br />engineering; we have also completed signalization improvements and signing throughout various locations in <br />Miami-Dade County. <br /> <br />The following are recent tasks that have been provided under this project: <br /> <br />. Development of a feasibility of implementing reversible lanes as a way to alleviate traffic congestion <br />during the peak periods. The two corridors evaluated were SR 7/NW 7th Avenue and SR 968/Flagler Street. <br /> <br />. FRA conducted traffic data collection for about 372 count sites under Annual Counting Program for <br />Miami Dade County. Routine Volume Counts were conducted for three continuous days once a year. <br />Collected counts were processed following Miami Dade County Software. <br /> <br />. Conducted Speed Studies for Various locations within Miami-Dade County. <br /> <br />25.
