. . . C. FIRM EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND Since its inception in September of 1976, WA has represented a unique level of commitment to its firm precepts of performance and excellence. Through an unswerving dedication and a constant execution to the furtherance of professional service to the public, the principals of the firm have created, developed and refined the practice of a firm that stands as a leader in the South Florida community. As with our previous work with park and parking garage design, we present a team that will respond to the functional requirements for the project and maintain an architectural vocabulary that is consistent with the surroundings, while ensuring the technical expertise to execute the implementation of the design. Having significant specific related experience, WA has consistently demonstrated its ability to involve the client in developing solutions that result in highly functional projects while maintaining an architectural presence commensurate with the surrounding ambiance and other uses. Based on a strong belief in fully integrated design, the principals of WA believe in the delivery of compre- hensive Planning, Architectural and Engineering services. With a consistent mission to provide a balance and integration of design creativity and engineering excellence, the firm has met the challenge of design excellence on the most complex of infrastructure programs and project types. In each task faced, no mat- ter what the requirements, the firm has pursued a course that maximizes the opportunity for achievement. This can be seen in a wide array of award-winning designs that span the categories of infrastructure, ar- chitecture and engineering design. WA has fulfilled its commitment to the whole of the built environment, focused on planning, architecture and engineering as unifying elements of the total. The work of the firm has continuously exhibited a successful merging of all program requirements. In an array of projects with complex programs and functional requirements, the firm has repeatedly been able to present solutions that enhance the built environment while satisfying functional and operational needs. Availability of Staff WA has recently completed and is currently completing several major projects. Our workload at the time that this contract is to be awarded will allow for the timely performance of all work. We also have a great team of architects and engineers as well as sufficient support personnel to meet any schedule demands. WA is a large organization that offers a unique level of flexibility in being able to accommodate increases in volume, requirements and skills needed. Through our office-wide team structure of 70 professionals we are able to grow or shrink a team as needed. WA will be able to dedicate the necessary professional and technical personnel to this project. For this contract we have assembled a full-service team which includes architects, draftsmen, designers, engineers, technical staff, construction managers, inspectors, cost esti- mators, landscape architects, and planners. All of our key personnel are available to work on this project. Experience with the City of Sunny Isles Beach WA has completed numerous local governmental projects over the past 31 years, including the develop- ment of facilities for the Federal, State, and many municipal governments throughout the Southeastern United States and abroad. The firm has enjoyed a successful history of community, judicial, parks, public administration, detention and public safety projects, having completed design work for over sixty related facilities in the United States and the Caribbean. Unfortunately the firm has not had the opportunity to showcase its expertise to the City of Sunny Isles Beach, however our consultants have experience work- ing for the City. WA understands the needs of public agencies to meet established budgets and sched- ules, while achieving a functional, secure and well engineered facility.
